    Application Technical Documentation:

    I. Overview of XA-SIC® SC RP-06:

    1. Suitable for reactive dye printing and pad-dyeing processes.

    2. It has a high solid content and low viscosity, dissolving easily in water under stirring conditions. At a rotation speed of 1800 rpm, pulp preparation can be completed within 40 minutes.

    3. It exhibits excellent chemical compatibility and does not affect the viscosity of SC RP-06 when mixed with other additives.

    4. The modified herbal fibers in this product inherently possess excellent moisture-absorbing properties and, under the same conditions, exhibit particularly vibrant colors.

    5. Due to its low molecular weight, the product is extremely easy to remove from the paste, thereby giving printed fabrics an excellent hand feel.

    II. Usage and Dosage

    1. The dosage of XA-SIC® SC RP-06 depends on factors such as the type, specifications, and basis weight of the fabric to be printed. The dosage should be determined based on the actual conditions of the factory.

    2. It can also be used in combination with the urea substitute XA-SIC®AM Sub-U10 to reduce the amount of urea used.

    3. When used in combination with acrylic thickeners, it helps reduce pulp-making costs.

    Recommended pigment paste composition ratio:

    XA-SIC® SC RP-06 1.0%~1.5%

    XA-SIC®AM Sub-U10 1% (can be optionally omitted)

    Polyacrylic acid thickener 2%~4%

Sodium carbonate or baking soda: 3%–4%

    Urea 8%~15%

    Dye-resistant salt 0.5%~1%

    Application scenarios:

    - During the preparation of XA-SIC® SC RP-06 pulp, the stirring speed must not be too high; prolonged exposure to high shear can damage the structural viscosity of the pulp.

    - Add the required amount of water

    - Add XA-SIC® SC RP-06 while stirring, and stir slowly until fully swollen.

    - Add baking soda/soda ash and anti-dyeing salt, and dissolve thoroughly.

    - Urea or its substitute XA-SIC®AM Sub-U10.

    - Stir until a uniform working paste is formed.

    Storage stability

From the date of manufacture, it can be stored for 12 months under dry and sun-protected conditions. Before use, please check whether it has clumped.
