Xuanang Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. was established in January 2023, mainly engaged in the research, development, production and sales of microcrystalline cellulose and biological organic fertilizers. Relying on advanced biochemical technology, the company focuses on the comprehensive utilization of crop waste (straw), and is committed to creating a model of green circular economy.
The company invested 150 million yuan to build an industrial park in Zhangye Economic Development Zone. The first phase of the project is to build a project with an annual output of 4,000 tons of printing paste, and the second phase will expand the production capacity of the first phase, and use the by-products of the first phase as raw materials, through the cooperation system of production, education and research, using innovative technology to produce high-efficiency biological organic fertilizers.
At present, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary in Zhangye treats straw through biochemical methods, successfully extracts cellulose, and chemically modifies it to produce high-value-added products, which are widely used in cosmetics and dyeing industries. At the same time, the factory uses the remaining part after processing to produce biological organic fertilizers, returning them to the land, effectively improving the soil, preventing secondary salinization of the land, helping to expand the planting area, and increasing crop yields. The whole process is emission-free and pollution-free, which is a vivid practice of green, circular and sustainable development.
In addition, the company is actively expanding the application fields of straw cellulose, modifying it through different chemical methods, extending it to the food, pharmaceutical, and battery industries, and exploring more potential value. In the future, the company plans to start from high-purity straw cellulose, biochemically process it into C6 sugars, further ferment it into L-lactic acid, and obtain high-purity L-lactic acid monomer through chiral separation, entering the polylactic acid industry and becoming a high-quality raw material supplier.
The company aims to use its own technology to efficiently and safely return agricultural waste to the land, improve the soil environment, and curb soil salinization. At the same time, it makes full use of the extracted high-value-added raw materials for chemical modification, promotes multi-industry applications, and ensures that the project can operate for a long time and stably without national subsidies, contributing to the resource utilization of agricultural waste and the development of the green industry.
