CMC is primarily used in the textile industry as a sizing agent and printing paste.
1. CMC is used as a textile sizing agent due to its stable properties and excellent film-forming ability. It exhibits high affinity with cellulose yarns, enabling the resulting film to achieve superior strength and effectively reducing issues like "jumping yarn" and "broken ends" in high-speed looms.
